Timberlock™ is the patented log home design from Whistler Forest Products — handcrafted in Pemberton, British Columbia and shipped around the world.
For over 30 years we’ve designed, milled and installed log homes and timber cabins using the finest Western Red Cedar, Douglas Fir, Hemlock and Yellow Cedar from sustainable BC forests. Beyond manufacturing, we bring decades of general contracting, construction and project management experience to every build.
Timberlock uses full-size logs, double-channelled to accept 2″ S4S framing lumber, leaving an insulated, air-tight void between each log. The result is a superior building envelope — the ultimate thermal efficiency of any log home.
The milled channels cut through the sapwood — the wettest part of the log — so Timberlock logs shrink less than scribed logs.
Logs and perimeter beams are pre-drilled for vertical steel redi-rods, tightened as the structure settles, stabilising the frame.
Electrical runs through the horizontal voids between logs and is encased by the lumber splines.
